Absolutely loved my experience at Shima Hair De Beaute in The Glen Shopping centre.✨️I came in wanting a U-shaped cut with face-framing layers, long layers in my hair and a brown caramel balayage. I genuinely couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.😄 My hairdresser, Jesmine, was so attentive and really took the time to understand my vision. She listened carefully to what I wanted, asked thoughtful questions about my preferences, and worked with such precision and care. You can tell she’s experienced as she stayed focused the entire time and handled my hair so gently whilst still being super efficient with the whole process. The cut and colour blended beautifully and feel exactly like what I had pictured!🤎😍💇🏽‍♀️ The owner, Mary was also incredibly kind and professional. She consistently checked in to make sure I felt comfortable and reassured about my colour choice. What I especially appreciated was her transparency, she literally calculated the pricing in front of me using a calculator and clearly explained everything, which made me feel so respected and at ease. No surprises, just honesty. The whole team created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere🌻. I was even offered a hot coffee during my appointment and every staff member who briefly assisted was friendly and attentive. As I checking out to pay, Mary generously gifted me complimentary sample sachets of shampoo, conditioner, a hair mask, and hair oil, which was such a thoughtful gesture that really reflects their commitment to client care.✨️ Overall, the service was exceptional😇 from start to finish. Professional, transparent, welcoming, and genuinely attentive to detail. I’ll absolutely be coming back and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a salon that truly listens and delivers. 💇🏽‍♀️✨😌 Thank you for your outstanding service👏🏼

I had the best experience at Shima and honestly couldn’t recommend them more. I walked in at around 9:30am with no appointment, and from the very first moment I was made to feel so welcome. They sat me down straight away and offered me tea, coffee, and water (more than once!) The atmosphere is warm, calm, and genuinely lovely. Everyone is so friendly, sweet, and welcoming, and you can tell they really care about their clients. I asked to have my hair straightened, and the attention to detail was next level. They took their time, were so precise, and the result was perfect! It was exactly what I wanted, if not better. I honestly couldn’t be happier with how my hair turned out. I’m not 100% sure who did my hair, it was either Luke or Tommy…but both of them were incredible, professional, and clearly very talented. Such a great experience from start to finish. I’ll 100% be going back and recommending Shima to everyone. Thank you for such an amazing visit 🤍

I’ve been with Shima since their old building around 2020 and have been committed since, I’ve also introduced my boyfriend to this hair salon which the staffs seems to be very fond of around 2024. For 6 years straight, they’ve been consistently welcoming and extremely kind, as well the lovely receptions always offering tea, coffee or water. Seeing these other lower star reviews is very upsetting to hear that they didn’t get the expected hair cuts, due to miscommunication or pricing. I believe they definitely try and have the passion to pass our beyond expectations for our haircuts with care! Presenting them examples of haircuts and what you exactly wants helps the hair dressers give better directions more, as well getting your perfect hair cuts. These staff members are not only under valued, but I believe they really are passionate for what they do. Their prices are reasonably well valued for the quality and outcomes of our haircuts, they deserve more appreciation for what they do! Never once I’ve never been upset with my hair, they communicate very well and very organised. Professional, have good relations with each other and the customers! Will be back in a few months again to have my hair permed and redyed with my partner!

My friend and I recently visited Shima for layered haircuts, and overall, we had a great experience. My friend’s hairdresser, Charley, was a standout. He was kind, friendly, and made the experience enjoyable. My friend was thrilled with her haircut and the service she received. My hairdresser was a lady who did a solid job. She was professional, though the interaction was less warm compared to Charley’s. My haircut turned out well, and I was satisfied with the result. The salon had a pleasant atmosphere, and we both left happy with our new layered looks. I’d recommend Shima, especially if you get a chance to book with Charley!

This place is so amazing for literally anything for your hair, especially a balayage, i got a balayage today and my experience here was AMAZING. They offered me tea and coffee and water, which is so sweet, and then they were so efficient and precise with my hair I LOVED THE RESULT AT THE END. definitely telling all my friends to come here if they wanna get a gorgeous balayage. Thank you so much for the great experience!!! Definitely coming back again soon for a haircut or another balayage!!
